As a TBRI Practitioner, I work with children & families to help promote healthy attachment between the child & their caregivers.  One of the main goals of my work is to help the caregivers as well as the child recognize the need behind the behavior & learn how they can meet that need in a positive way.

What is TBRI?

TBRI® stands for Trust Based Relational Intervention & is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, & Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, & neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.
